During the three years I worked with Petree Stockton & Robinson on marketing communications and public relations projects, I wrote a brochure to attract associates to the firm.
I wrote and designed brochures for SecureGuard to promote the Winston-Salem, North Carolina, company’s home service and vehicle service contracts. I also wrote sales letters and scripts.
I wrote a consumer brochure and an agent recruiting booklet for The Investment Life Insurance Company of America and their annuity products.
I wrote promotional copy and designed an 8-page catalog to promote Jeffersonville, Indiana-based Ebit Information Systems IT consulting and training programs.
I wrote brochure text for Twin City Warehouse, a Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based logistics services provider.
I wrote a sales letter for Myriad Intellect to sell the benefits of having a website and reasons to choose the company as website developer.
I wrote a sales letter for ExChina, a Dublin, Ireland, supply chain management consultancy devoted to building trade relationships between clients and suppliers in China.
Among my first assignments as a freelancer was a copy-writing project for The Alderman Company, a photography studio in High Point, North Carolina. The company’s graphic designers had already created the layout for the brochure, and my job was to write copy that would engage prospective clients while fitting precisely into the layout—right down to the line-by-line character count for the first panel.
I wrote a sales letter to law firm managing partners and business managers to promote Peak Communication Performance’s “Manners Mean Business” business etiquette training CD.
