Mental Health Care & Advocacy-Related Projects"Balancing Act" logo

Featured Project: ‘Balancing Act’ Promotion

Client: NAMI North Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina
Services Provided: Writing and Graphic Design

Soon after beginning a four-year relationship as marketing communications counsel for the North Carolina affiliate for the National Alliance on Mentally Illness, I was called on to handle promotion and publicity for a 10-city tour of “Balancing Act,” Wambui Bahati's one-woman musical play about her struggles with bipolar disorder. I customized all materials for each of the ten local affiliate sponsors.

When NAMI Tennessee later presented the play at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, I created the promotional materials and program for the performance.
